Daybreak

This photograph captures the Belmar Fishing Club pier in Belmar, NJ, at sunrise. The Belmar Fishing Club pier boasts a storied history dating back to its founding in 1908. One of the oldest fishing clubs in the United States, it was established to foster camaraderie among anglers and promote a love for fishing and the ocean. It stands as a testament to the enduring connection between the community and the sea, providing not only a venue for fishing but also a place to appreciate the natural beauty of the New Jersey coastline.

Ember

Reached only by hiking into the backcountry of Fire Island National Seashore, this remote stretch of coastline offered an unforgettable sunrise after a night of backpack camping on the beach. For just a few minutes, the sky glowed like a fading ember, casting warm light across the untouched dunes and shoreline. Ember is a reminder that some of the most rewarding photographs aren't found—they're earned through patience, preparation, and being present when nature reveals its most fleeting moments.

Third Watch

Completed in 1872, the current Bodie Island Lighthouse is the third beacon built to protect the ever-changing coastline. The first lighthouse was abandoned as erosion claimed the shoreline, while the second was destroyed by retreating Confederate troops during the Civil War. Captured in the golden light before sunset, The Third Watch honors a beacon that refused to be forgotten. Rising where two others fell, it stands as a symbol of resilience, continuing its silent watch over the Outer Banks more than 150 years later.
